Also I read that it is supposedly more powerful the the original battery. When I got the battery I put it on charge and then proceeded to test its life span. I tested both the official battery and this one and the results were unbelievable.First let me explain how I tested these. I turned off the LCD display hooked it up to a timed remote shutter cord that was set to take a picture every 4 seconds with a 1/160 shutter speed and a aperture of F/8 and I let it run until the battery died. Orignal Battery: 977 Shots This Battery: 2000 shots and it still had half the battery life left. Now I know that sounds unreal like maybe I faked the numbers or something but I promise you I did not and I honestly can't comprehend it either. It seems to only work until the camera "realizes" it's not authentic. Sometimes I can get several shots out of it, but after a few minutes it still turns off saying "for infolithium battery only". While it does work, it does NOT tell me what % the battery charge is at. If I take it out for a few seconds & put it back in, I can once again get a few moments out of it before the camera recognizes that it's not a Sony Infolithium battery & shuts itself off... The other, which I haven't charged yet, seems to work fine... It came at about 70% charge, according to my camera, and I'll just try to drain it today/tomorrow and charge it up. We'll see if giving it a full charge somehow spoils it... Will update with a comment tomorrow. Especially considering shipping charges, I'm giving these 1 star, considering their 50% success rate... ***EDIT: I contacted them...
